Not long after Banner Engineering Corp. introduced the K50 Beacon Light, work began on enhancing the general purpose indicator in order for it to provide even more solutions. As a result, the K50 Beacon Light is now available in rotating and strobing models that will radiate an extremely bright, attention-getting signal with its intense LEDs. In addition to featuring a light viewable from all directions, the strobing K50 models emit light from the top and have three functions — solid ON, single and double strobe. Meanwhile, the rotating version is also available with three functions — solid ON, as well as two rotating speeds. The K50's microprocessor-based design allows Banner to quickly offer custom configurations on the strobe rates and rotation speeds, thus helping meet specific needs of the customer.

Like the original model, the strobing and rotating versions are intended for indoor and outdoor general status indication and are designed to be implemented in areas with high levels of ambient light where a standard indicator light may go unnoticed. Rugged, sealed IP67 and IP69K thermoplastic housings make all K50 models ideal for both dirty and washdown environments, and they are all available in 12 to 30 V dc operation, as well as cabled or quick disconnect models.
