COMITRONIC-BTI has developed a new product range of safety switches ideally suited for hostile environments, especially the food processing industry. The mirror polished IP69K safety switches 
are made from 316L stainless steel, making them extremely robust and the most chemically resistant products available today. A 50cm pigtail cable allows you to place the M12 connector in a protected position and the indication LED is protected by the switches housing. The safety switches are laser etched and mechanically stamped, ensuring that all product and traceability information is permanently available. The above features ensure that COMITRONIC-BTI’s new range of safety switches is the best available on the market.
In addition to the standard products in this new product range, Comitronic-BTI has developed three specialised products.
- The Trithon P Safety Switch which will be launched in October 2014 is designed for extreme temperatures. This safety switch has a temperature range from -40° to +130° Celsius, while its silicone cable is rated from -65° to +200° Celsius. This product is ideally suited for very hot or very cold environments such as cold rooms or ovens.
- The EPINUS Safety Switch has a magnetic holding force which is used to hold safety doors closed and prevent accidental switching due to machine vibration.
- The SUPERMAGNET 2 Safety Switch has up to 100kg electro-magnetic locking. This locking is used to ensure that users do not open a door before the end of the machines cycle. The SUPERMAGNET 2 is available in different versions, with a holding force between 20kg and 100kg and versions with power to lock or power to unlock.
