Comprehensive product portfolio for a fast and safe data transmission up to 10 Gbit/s.  ESCHA has extended its connectivity line for Industrial-Ethernet-Applications by several products that guarantee a fast and safe data transmission up to 10 Gbit/s. The new M12x1 round connectors with X-Coding as well as the new RJ45-Connectors are respectively available as field wireable- or overmolded variants. Moreover, the connectivity specialist is also introducing a device connection and a PCB flange with X-Coding.

Recently, there has been increasing demand for a consistent and reliable data transmission between the harsh industrial area and the office communication. Within the scope of its product range for Industrial-Ethernet-Applications, ESCHA is providing, as of now, new connectivity components in response to market demand for a related interface solution including an M12x1 round connector, a flange and a built-in plug with X-Coding for high field-safety requirements as well as RJ45-connectors for IT-wiring.

New Field Connector

The new 4-paired M12x1 field- round connector is based on the 360°-shielding concept developed by ESCHA. Thereby, connecting the shield is not effected by a cable shielded connection, but through reliable crimping with the shield housing meeting protection class IP67, IP68, and IP69K requirements and further guarantee a safe and reliable 10 Gbit/s-data transmission rate according to Cat6A.

In addition to the pre-manufactured connection- and junction cables, ESCHA also has included a field wireable plug in the product range. Moreover, a portfolio with housing feed-throughs for front- and back wall installations with wires or print-contacts has been created also including an M12x1-flange with right-angled contacts for PCB direct population compensating for a wall thickness of 1 mm to 5 mm upon request. Furthermore, a reflow-capable built-in flange for device installation adapted to customer specific housing is available consistently implementing the shielding concept.

New Office Connectors

In-office tightness and pollution requirements of a connector are lower than those in industrial areas. Therefore, various RJ45-solutions meeting protection class IP20 requirements for this application area are available.

The 4-pole and 8-pole connection- and junction cables of the new RJ45-connector ensure a data transmission according to Cat5e and are also available as overmolded- and field wireable versions. All variants are multi-port capable through their compact housing styles.

In addition to the new M12x1-connectors with X-Coding and the new RJ45-products, ESCHA continues to offer the time-proven M12x1-portfolio with D-Coding designed for Industrial-Ethernet-Applications with a data transmission rate of Cat5e. This comprehensive 4-pole product range is also based on the frequently proven 360°-shielding concept and guarantees a better network utilization through high signal reserves.

Cables for all existing- and new products are UL-approved and thus meet the safety guidelines of the North American market.
