High flexibility with respect to mounting is a promising feature of the new uprox+ sensors with integrated terminal chamber. As this version is preferably applied in the Food & Beverage industry, the uprox+ Wash-Down series will be first product line with the new terminal chamber. Similar to the cable versions M12, M18 and M30 (flush and non-flush mounting), the new version with integrated terminal chamber fulfils the requirements to use food-safe materials which are resistant to cleaning agents, high pressure and steam jet cleaning methods.

The compact and FDA conform terminal chamber sensors enable a straight or 90° angled cable routing by simply twisting the cover. The cable is linked via a standard M16 cable gland to the cover of the terminal chamber. Removable screw or cage clamp terminals allow quick and flexible mounting on the system i.e. pre-assembling.

In the event of maintenance, the sensor can easily be replaced. LEDs in the terminal chamber inform the user about the switching status and the power supply of the sensors.
