Turck presents IMS family with complete galvanic isolation for signal conditioning and temperature detection
Turck extends the product portfolio in the field of interface technology with the Interface Module Small (IMS) featuring a width of only 6.2 mm. The IMS is suited for galvanic isolation, signal conditioning and temperature detection in numerous application areas of process and factory automation.
The input, output and power supply (up to 2,5 kV) of the new IMS family are each completely galvanic isolated. The portfolio consists of one and two-channel devices for galvanic isolation without signal conditioning and different models with signal conditioning functions, like dead-zero to live-zero signals. The analogue signal transmitter for example achieves 0.1% accuracy of full scale. The IMS family by Turck includes devices for temperature detection via PT100 or via thermo-elements. The Pt100 is available in 2, 3 or 4-wire connection technology and the device accuracies are 0.3% of full scale. Configuration with a laterally mounted DIP switches is a further user friendly feature.
